The carnival like event which held at the Town hall (SounOgunlola hall), Oja’agbo, Ogbomoso was attended by the National and State leadership of the party, all candidates for all elective positions for the February 25th and March 11th National Assembly and State elections.
Addressing the crowd, Adelabu said the forthcoming elections will afford the people of the state an opportunity to right all the wrongs, misrule, maladministration of the current government under Governor Seyi Makinde of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
He accused the Makinde administration of running out of ideas that can transform the state, saying the government has resolved to copying some of his ideas (Adelabu) on how he planned to transform the State.
He added that under Makinde’s watch, the state of education has become worse, noting that all semblance of improvement and achievements made by previous administrations in the State has been rubbished by the PDP government.
He appealed to the people to show their commitment to a new Oyo State by voting in the Accord Party in the forthcoming elections.
He added that the party believes in the capacity and capabilities of women which was why he opted for a woman as his running mate, noting that his deputy will not just be a “spare tyre” as many would call it.
