No Primaries in Ibadan South West/North West Federal Constituency —– Folake Olunloyo– Oshinowo

The All Progressives Congress ( APC) aspirant and former House of Representatives member, Hon. Folake Olunloyo- Oshinowo has denied that a Primary election was held to pick a candidate for the Ibadan South West/North West Federal Constituency.

Hon Olunloyo- Oshinowo spoke at the weekend while reacting to reports that a candidate had emerged from the Constituency. Addressing party faithful in the Constituency, Hon Olunloyo-Oshinowo said representatives of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had also affirmed that no election was held in the constituency.

She therefore urged her Constituents to disregard any information regarding the emergence of any candidate from the Constituency as this would amount to a mockery of the whole electoral exercise. “ I can say authoritatively that the Senator Teslim group are the people behind this charade. Having collected money from a particular candidate, they gave assurances that the ticket would be his.

Their intention was to sit down in a corner to write the name of a candidate of their choice. But let me assure you, all they have done is an exercise in futility and it will not fly”, she told the Constituents.
