EASTER 2023: SENATOR BUHARI CONGRATULATES CHRISTIANS

– ENJOINS THEM TO SHOW LOVE AND EMPATHY TO ONE ANOTHER

As Christians in Oyo North Senatorial District joined their brethrens across the world to celebrate Easter 2023, Senator Buhari Abdulfatai Ph. D has felicitated with them on the occasion.

The lawmaker expressed his felicitation to the Christians in the district in his release issued and made available to Journalists in the early hours of today.

According to him, Easter was a moment for all Christians to reflect on the memorable sacrifice made by Jesus Christ who paid supreme price for the salvation of mankind.

While narrated that the crucification, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ were all occurrences that taught Christians on how to sacrifice all that they have including their lives for others to live a fulfilled life, Senator Buhari said Jesus loved mankind so much and so sacrifice himself for others to live.

The Legislator charged Christians to use the occasion of 2023 Easter Celebration to pray for peace, unity, blessings and prosperity of Nigeria.

He lauded them for their unflinching supports for him before, during and after the recently conducted general elections.

“Don’t forget to use this spirit in this occasion to pray for me and other leaders of the country to whom you have given your mandate to so that we can all personally and collectively make the nation greater to the benefits of all and sundry across religious faiths”, he stated.

Senator Buhari prayed for all Christians in Oyo North, Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole to witness many of Easter celebration on the surface of Earth.
