Easter Celebrations: Imbibe The Teaching Of Christ Jesus On Faith, Forgiveness And Love ; Senator Buhari

The lawmaker representing Oyo North Senatorial District in the Red Chamber, Senator AbdulFatai Buhari has implored Christians in his constituency, Oyo State, in the nation and globally to be Christ-likes in attitudes on faith, forgiveness, love and sacrifices in this season of Easter Celebration.

The lawmaker in his Easter message stated that it is only true and genuine forgiveness, sacrifices and above all love that we can have a greater and better Nigeria.

” Easter is the season celebrated by Christians around the world in commemoration of Christ Jesus’ death and resurrection.

” The season also represents His victory over death, it depicts the confirmation and security of faith and that if He had not risen, the Christian faith would have had no foundation.

Senator Buhari further preached , ” we need to be ceaselessly prayerful at this very challenging period of insecurity and second wave of Covid-19 pandemic, be more loving, forgiving, be ready to sacrifice and have strong faith that Nigeria will be a great and better nation.

” We need to be security and Covid-19 conscious by reporting any strange happenings in our environment to security officers and follow all laid down protocols and guidelines for covid-19 safety.

“May the death and resurrection of Christ Jesus, bury all our life negativities, awaken and bring into fruition our dead glorious and make this season the period of astonishing and unforgettable pleasant memories”, the lawmaker posited.
