Ministerial nomination: Florence Ajimobi congratulates Fagbemi, Adelabu
Florence Ajimobi, wife of the former Governor of Oyo State has congratulated the duo of Senior Advocate of Nigeria ( SAN),Lateef Fagbemi and Oloye Bayo Adelabu over their nomination as ministers by President Bola Tinubu.
According to Mrs Ajimobi, nomination of the duo is a reflection of the desire of the president to pick technocrats , highly competent and qualified individuals to turn around the country.
“Mr Lateef Fagbemi has distinguished himself nationally and internationally as an advocate and lawyer of of great repute, similarly Adelabu has also distinguished himself as a financial expert with a distinguished career in the private and public sectors, rising to the enviable position of Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria before venturing into politics. The choice of the duo is thus a major plus for the country.”
Mrs Ajimobi also expressed appreciation to President Tinubu for the choice of all his ministerial nominees, the steps he has taken so far since he assumed the presidency on May 29, 2023. “ It is clear that the country is on an upward trajectory with the steps the president has taken so far to reposition the country especially in the areas of the economy.
She also enjoined Nigerians to exercise patients with the administration as what they are experiencing now is temporary. “ We all know that the President is an astute and visionary leader, he has the love of the country at heart and he has the administrative experience and political sagacity to restore the fortunes of the country. Let us just exercise a little patients,” she said.
