NIGERIA AT 61: SALUTE TO OUR FATHERLAND. | BIMBO KOLADE
Today marks 61 years of our country’s independence, I join fellow Nigerians to celebrate the labour of our past heroes, echo the need of our continued unity and reminisce of our history as an independent nation. On this day I celebrate our nation and her people as we acknowledged the spirit of optimism, resilience and creativity that defines us as Nigerians.
We are together as a nation, irrespective of the challenges that we have faced because our dreams as a people have not deviated from our aspirations to place Nigeria amongst the world top nations. I remain a strong believer that what unites Nigeria remain stronger than our artificial differences as people. Nigeria we celebrate thee.
Indeed celebrating our nations 61 anniversary called for a reflection as well as collective resolve to rework and rebuild what we may have missed on our journey as a nation up to this point. A nation blessed with ingenuity, resourcefulness, determination and dreams. Together as a nation we are greater than the sum of our parts. Together we are stronger.
I celebrate our journey into a future where opportunities for every Nigerian remain prevalent, and where great strengths and the resolve of our citizens can only build a STRONGER NIGERIA. I celebrate a brighter Nigeria where experiences of our past can only strengthen our determination for greatness.
Let us reminiscent on the struggles of our independence and cherish once more, and together, the diversities of our nationhood. We should all commit to peaceful coexistence, harmonious relationship and common development.
Happy Independence Nigeria.
