Omiyale: We will miss him, Says Florence Ajimobi
Wife of Senator Abiola Ajimobi, the late former governor of Oyo State, Dr (Mrs) Florence Ajimobi has expressed deep shock over the death of former Ibadan South East Local government Chairman, Hon Bimbo Omiyale, saying that his death has created a vacuum that will not be easily filled.
She expressed dismay about Omiyale’s death which occurred just a few days after the death of ace broadcaster, Babatunde Olaniyi popularly known as TiO Common.
In a statement issued on Monday, Mrs Ajimobi said Omiyale’s death came at a time the former Chairman had a lot to look forward to. “ He wat still young and had a great political future, unfortunately death came calling at the most unexpected time”, she said.
According to the former governor’s wife, the death of Omiyale has created a vacuum at the grassroots’political, among his close associates in the political arena and the association of former local government chairmen of which he was a member”.
“His death has brought great sorrow, sadness and anguish especially now that he still has a lot to contribute to the society.”
Mrs Ajimobi said with Omiyale’s death, “there is no doubt that his immediate and extended families, his political family and people of Oyo State have lost a gentle soul who had the love of the people at heart”.
“He was a gentle soul who embodied humility in his lifetime. My heartfelt condolences go to his family, his wife and children, close political associates and thosewho would sorely feel his departure.
“Though no soothing words can ease the pains of his passing, let us take comfort in his good deeds which are indelibly written in the heart of the people who have had the opportunity of meeting with him in his lifetime.
