Oyo Guber Poll: Adelabu receives major boost as four Political Parties Form Alliance with Accord
Less than 24 hours to the Saturday Governorship and State House of Assembly Elections in Oyo state four political parties have thrown their weight behind the ambition of Chief Adebayo Adelabu the Accord governorship candidate in tomorrow’s election.
The Four political parties include Labour Party ,APM, AGA and AD led by Mr Abraham Fakayode, immediate past State secretary, Labour party, Hon. Durojaiye Adewale, National vice chairman, APM, Hon. Adeshina, State Chairman, AGA and Com. Kunle Fajenbola leader of Alliance for Democracy, respectfully
They said among the Governorship candidates it is only Chief Adebayo Adelabu that has the good template of moving the state forward hence the need for their total support.
” We are here to pledge our unflinching support to your aspiration having critically examined other Guber candidates before making this decision.We have told our followers about this decision and unanimously agreed to align with Accord for the progress of the State”, they said.
They commended Adelabu for the peaceful conduct of his Campaign which has been devoid of violence.
“You are the only one among the candidates whose campaign has been peaceful unlike the APC and PDP that violence continue to trail. Oyo State deserves a candidate that will not return us to the era of arson and brigandage “.
Chief Adelabu in his remarks expressed appreciation to the four political parties and promised not to disappoint them in terms of meaningful and impactful government
He urged the people of Oyo state to come out en mass and vote for Accord party on Saturday, March 18 Governorship and state Assembly election for the overall development of the state.
