Florence Ajimobi expresses appreciation over massive support for Tinubu
The Oyo State Coordinator of the Tinubu/Shettima Women Presidential Campaign Committee, Dr (Mrs) Florence Ajimobi has expressed appreciation to the people of Oyo State over their support for the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress ( APC ), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as evidenced in the massive turnout at the Oyo State presidential campaign rally on Thursday.
The rally which was held at Mapo hill in Ibadan, capital of Oyo State witnessed a mammoth turn out of supporters from different parts of the State. Among the supporting groups are The Asiwaju Group (TAG) led by the State Coordinator , Hon David Adeagbo, Oyo State Tinubu/Shettima Women Presidential Campaign Group (OTISHE) coordinated by Mrs Ajimobi, the Coalition Movement for Bola Ahmed Tinubu ( COMBAT), the BAT Movement, among many other groups at the rally.
According to Mrs Ajimobi, the massive turn out reflects the believe in the person of Tinubu by the people of Oyo State and the South West. “ Tinubu’s antecedent as a builder of men, as a visionary leader who can take the country to another higher pedestal and turn around the fortune of Nigeria led to the massive support for him. For us in Oyo State, we shall work assiduously to ensure we deliver massive votes for Tinubu. We shall continue our house -to-house and door-to-door campaigns until the last day, in order to ensure maximum turn out of voters on election day. We are assured of total support for Tinubu in the State”, she said.
She enjoined the people to translate their support for Tinubu to votes on February 25, adding that the people would be better for it. “His presidency will improve the quality of lives of the people because he would come up with people-oriented policies. He would embark on massive development of the country. As a Progressives, he would ensure that all the States and the various stakeholders are not left out in the scheme of things”..
The OTISHE Coordinator who had taken the Tinubu presidency support gospel to various stake holders in Oyo State such as the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Moslem Women Associations and Market Men and Womenassociations said the assurances from the various groups have remained positive and gives her confidence that Oyo State is for Tinubu and the various APC candidates. “ With the assurances and support we got from the various stakeholders, we know that Asiwaju has the support of our people here in Oyo State
