Olajide Olatubosun hails Governor Makinde for immortalising Ajimobi

A member of the House of Representatives representing Atisbo /Saki – East/Saki – West federal constituency, Hon. Olajide Olatubosun has commended Governor Seyi Makinde for renaming The FirstTechnical University Ibadan after our late Governor, Leader and Father, Senator Abiola Ajimobi.

Renaming the ivory tower as Senator Abiola Ajimobi First Technical University is giving honour to whom bonour is due and it permanently guarantees Senator Ajimobi’s place in history as a Governor that whole – heartedly served the people of Oyo – State.
Governor Seyi Makinde has demonstrated by this singular act that he wants posterity to remember
him as a man of courage and an Apostle of politics without bitterness. Your Excellency, history will definitely be kind on you.

The late Governor Abiola Ajimobi, the Aare Atunluse of Ibadan land, was a great leader, a foremost patriot who never waivered in his quest to bring development to Oyo State. This post – humous honour is, therefore , a step in the right direction by Governor Makinde.

I congratulate our mother, the matriach of the Ajimobi dynasty, and the Yeye Aare Atunluse of Ibadan land Chief (Mrs) Florence Ajimobi for this great honour done to the Abiola Ajimobi dynasty.
I also congratulate and rejoice with all of us in the Ajimobi political family.
