Florence Ajimobi commiserates with APC leader, Akande over death of son-in-law
Florence Ajimobi, wife of the former Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi has condoled with former Governor of Osun State and Chairman of the Governing Council of the University of Ibadan, Chief Bisi Akande, over the death of his son-in-law, Barr. Oyedele Clement Akintola.
In a condolence message issued at the weekend, Mrs Ajimobi also commiserated with Chief Akande’s daughter, Mrs. Bolaji Akintola, over the unexpected transition of her husband at age 60.
She described his transition as an irreparable loss, which would create a vacuum in the family and prayed God to give the immediate and extended families of the deceased, the fortitude to bear the great loss.
“On behalf of myself and the Senator Abiola Ajimobi family, I want to express our heartfelt condolences to the families of Baba, Chief Bisi Akandeand the late Barr. Oyedele Clement Akintola on this great and irreparable loss.
“While alive, Barrister Akintola was a great pillar of support for family and friends. He was an epitome of humility and there is no doubt that his death has left a vacuum that will be difficult to fill.
“I pray that God will grant the late Barr. Oyedele Clement Akintola eternal rest and grant the family, particularly his wife and children, the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.”
The condolence message reads:
“With a deep sense of loss and grief, I write on behalf of myself and the Senator Abiola Ajimobi family to express our sincere condolences on the unexpected transition of your son-in-law, Barrister Oyedele Clement Akintola.
“His death came at the most unexpected time, occurring at a painful period when his support to family and friends was needed .
“Indeed, his death came as a shock to me and the entire Abiola Ajimobi family.
With his death, there is no doubt that Baba, his wife, the children, his siblings, members of his immediate and extended families have lost a wonderful and loving family man.
“My heartfelt condolences go to you, his wife and those left behind by his departure. “Though no soothing words can ease the pains of his passing away, let us take comfort in the good memories he left behind which will remain evergreen in your heart.
