Hon. Sadipe Breaks Silence on Oyo APC Reconciliation, Says Party First, Ambition Later
Honourable Tolulope Akande-Sadipe representing Oluyole Federal Constituency has urged members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Oyo State to allow peaceful coexistence so that the party can regain its place of pride.
Honourable Sadipe said this, when asked the APC party issue question whilst featuring on a popular radio program “Political Circuit” on Fresh 105.9FM on Saturday, 3rd October 2020.
According to the federal lawmaker, some, inspite of his reconciliation efforts said our leader and lover of Oyo progress, late Governor Ajimobi was the reason behind the situation. If that was truly the case, the builder of modern Oyo has moved on to greater glory, yet the issue of disunity persists.
“We have elders, I am, but a mere child. Who am I to tell them what to do. But if I may state my opinion, for the Party to work better come 2023, personal interests must be put aside for the collective progress of the party.
The Chairman House Committee implored members of the party across the state to put the unity of the party first while individual ambition comes after.
“What I will do is to implore party faithfuls across the state to be calm and put APC unity at the forefront of their actions. Individual ambition can come later when we have a stable platform to showcase our abilities.”
