Beneficiaries Smile As Senator Buhari’s 3 Days Training And Empowerment Of 400 Constituents On Mechanized Farming Ends.
The three (3) days training of four hundred (400) constituents selected from the thirteen (13) local government areas of Oyo North Senatorial District has ended.
The Senator AbdulFatai Omotayo Buhari facilitated training in conjunction with the National Directorate Of Employment (NDE) on intensive training at keying the beneficiaries into modern ways of farming commenced on Wednesday 2nd December, 2020 and ended on Saturday 5th December, 2020 at the three (3) different designated centres.
The training which was simultaneously held at Kisi Town Hall in Kisi, Irepo Local Government,
Ipman Hall in Saki , Saki West Local Government
and at Ipapo Town Hall, Ipapo in Itesiwaju Local Government areas of Oyo North Senatorial District had resourceful and well experienced tutors to take the trainees on modern techniques of farming.
The Special Assistant to the lawmaker on Political Matters, Honourable Adedeji Abiodun Adeyemo, who represented the Distinguished Senator eulogised the lawmaker
for bringing in such training to the district at a time the Federal Government is working hard to make agriculture the nation’s highest source of revenue.
” We bless God for giving us a God fearing, quality and focused representative in the person of Senator Buhari Fatai in Oyo North Senatorial District.
” Oyo North Senatorial District is an agrarian community with very fertile soil on a large landmark.
“The economic activities of the area will boom if necessary things are put in place such as good roads, massive supports for farmers in the form of training, seminars, agriculture loans, to mention but a few.
” The workaholic lawmaker is of the view that Oyo North can be the food basket of the nation thus the need of facilitating such training to the zone.
” You could imagine the positive effects of training four hundred (400) persons on modern techniques of farming periodically in the zone.
” To crown it all, Federal University Of Agriculture And Technology, Oke Ogun, waiting for President Muhammadu Buhari’s assent will materialise very soonest.
” You can therefore see how focused Senator Buhari is in ensuring he fixes the senatorial district into the Federal Government plans of making agriculture the major source of national income.
” I plead that the beneficiaries will make utmost use of these opportunities to make life worth living”, Obadoba, as the Special Adviser is being called urged.
The beneficiaries after receiving three thousand naira (#3,000:00) daily transport allowances were given knapsack sprayer, herbicides, seedlings, seed protector, twenty thousand naira (#20,000:00 training allowances and certificate of participation at the end of the three (3) days training.
The lawmaker has promised to roll out more training programmes and other democratic dividends for the benefit of the constituents to the zone but sought for prayers and total supports so as to continue making the good people of Oyo North Senatorial District proud.
