Oyo State and indeed the Igangan people of Ibarapa Area was thrown into another moment of chaos by the unfortunate massacre of innocent citizens by yet to be identified gunmen.
The increasing threat to the general safety of lives and properties becomes an issue of concern, especially to all well-meaning leaders of opinion.
The wanton destruction of life and properties including the palace of the Asigangan of Igangan is most unfortunate.
The Honourable Commissioner, Public Complaints Commission, Asiwaju Folawiyo Bello unequivocally condemns this attack on humanity while commiserating with the Government and people of Oyo State.
The Honourable Commissioner appeals for calm and enjoins all the relevant security agencies to ensure a well coordinated investigation in ensuring a sustainable resolution.
