RAMADAN 2024: SENATOR BUHARI FELICITATES WITH MUSLIMS IN OYO NORTH – CALLS FOR ASSISTANCE AMONG BRETHRENS FOR EASY FASTING

The Senator representing Oyo North Senatorial District, Dr. Buhari Abdulfatai has felicitated with Muslims in the district, Oyo State and Nigeria at large as the month of Islamic fasting, Ramadan starts today.

The Legislator expressed his appreciation to God for the lives of his people that witnessed this year Ramadan in a press release issued and made available to journalists in the early hours of today.

While congratulating the Muslims on the arrival of the Holy Month, identified as a pillar of Islam that is mandatory for every Muslim, Senator Buhari charged them to observe the fasting with fear of God and in accordance with the laid down rules specified by the Holy Prophet Muhammad.

The month according to the Legislator is a month when Muslims are expected to get closer to Allah by obeying His commandments on both the compulsory and the voluntary daily prayers so that they can enjoy the blessings embedded in the Holy Month of Ramadan.

He admonished Muslims to extend love and care to their brethren by giving those in need the foodstuffs to cushion the effect of the current hardship in the country.

Senator Buhari charged the Muslims to make best use of the blessed month to pray for Nigeria and the leaders therein so that they can all be rightly guided in putting to an end the sufferings of the masses.

“Do not relent in your prayers for our dear Country, we do not have another country to call ours than Nigeria and so we should all support our leaders by praying for them so that the nation will be taken to the promised land,” Senator Buhari advised.

He prayed for the lives of Nigerians who witnessed the beginning of the month to see the end and celebrate more of it on the surface of earth with sound health, abundant wealth and peace of mind.
