The Senator representing the good people of Oyo North, Dr. Buhari Abdulfatai has empowered a total of 150 women selected across the 13 local government areas of the senatorial district.
The women laughed home today with a sum of N50, 000 each and other valuable emolumants after a three days intensive training on entrepreneurship held at Iseyin between Wednesday, 1st and Today 3rd November, 2023.
Speaking on behalf of Senator Buhari at the end of the programme, Hon. Abiodun Adeyemo Obadoba declared the unparalleled commitment of the facilitator of the programme in taking his constituents out of the shackle of poverty.
He congratulated the beneficiaries of the lawmaker gestures while charging them to make best use of the new skills to improve their well being.
Hon. Obadoba who expressed confidence and trust in God that Senator Buhari will continue to elevate his constituents with best of his abilities declared that the third term of the Legislator in the Senate will be of immense benefits to the senatorial district.
“My people, let us make best use of the N50,000 given to everyone of you to start a small scale business. I am sure that if you put your knowledge acquired in this training into practice, the money will multiply progressively,” Obadoba said.
He added “Senator Buhari Abdulfatai has just empowered you people, I advised that you convince him to do more and more for others only if you take the advantage of it and better your status economically.”
Obadoba enjoined the Oyo North constituents to pray fervently for Senator Buhari so that his good dreams for the senatorial district can become realities.
