Today, the Senator representing Oyo North Senatorial District at the Senate, Sen. Fatai Omotayo Buhari on his visit to Saki town for a function took time to inspect the ultra modern Library he facilitated to Saki town.
The project which is situated at Parapo Area, Ilesa-Baruba Road, Saki is at the final stage of completion. The senator who went round on oversight of the facility heaped praises on the contractor handling the project, Rayoz Digit Services Limited for the quality and the pace at the work is going and further charged the construction company to round up the work very soon.
The senator equally lauded National Productivity Centre which is the Federal Government’s client handling the project for the timely release of funds and logistics.
The Senator while highlighting the importance of a library to any community have this to say:
“As a scholar myself, I know the importance of a library to any society. It is the heart and soul of any enlightened society. Readers they say are leaders, and if we are to harness the vast potential of our youths, we must encourage reading culture by providing facilities that will enhance that. That’s what informed my decision to facilitate this project to Saki town at this time. I shall by God’s grace have this replicated in all cities in Oyo North to achieve the same result”
Recall that the senator had in the last few days facilitated federal government cash grant to 300 women of his senatorial district
