At 93: Senator Buhari eulogises Olubadan
– describes the monarch as a reliable father.

As Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji Aje Oguguniso 1 marks 93years today, Oyo State governorship aspirant under the platform of All Progressives Congress and Senator from Oyo North Senatorial District, Dr. Buhari Abdulfatai has congratulated the monarch and described him as a reliable father.

Senator Buhari expressed this in a message made available to journalists today with a title “Congratulatory message to a worthy father and an epitome of peace at 93”.

According to the lawmaker, the birthday of Kabiesi Olubadan is worthy of celebration because he is one of very few endowed with knowledge and wisdom that keep Ibadan and Oyo State growing despite the recent challenges.

While praying that Olubadan shall live long in sound health and peace of mind on the throne, Senator Buhari said the roles of Olubadan in the sustanance of good governance remained great and appreciated and so he prayed he lives long for better enjoyment of the gesture.

He congratulated the monarch, Olubadan-in-Council, Oyo State Council of Obas and Chiefs and generality of people of Ibadan on another year worthy of celebration not only by the royal father but generality of people in the State.
