The immediate past governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi has been appointed as the New Deputy National Chairman South of the All Progressives Congress APC.

Senator Ajimobi replaces the former governor of Ekiti State Otunba Niyi Adebayo, who was appointed a minister in 2019 by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Ajimobi’s appointment was ratified on wednesaday after the APC South West Caucus meeting in Osogbo, Osun State.

The former governor will use his new position to restore unity and take APC to another level in the SW and in extension, Nigeria.
