BREAKING : Hon. Olajide Olatubosun reacts to Purported House of Representatives primaries held in Saki today

Due to disturbances that happened in Iseyin yesterday, the Oyo North Senatorial primary of the APC was rescheduled for Saki today, 29th May, 2022.

A notice to that effect inviting the Senatorial aspirants to a meeting at the Premier Hotel Ibadan was issued on Saturday 28th May 2022.

However when our reporter reached Hon Olajide Olatubosun who is representing Saki West/Saki East/Atisbo Federal Constituency, he duly informed us that a Kangaroo House of Representatives Primary was conducted by a faction of APC with the Electoral Officer for Saki West in attendance.
In his exact words, he said “I didn’t get any notice in respect of the Kangaroo election. Other aspirants also confirmed to me that they didn’t get any notice. Perhaps it’s only the Jagba aspirant and delegates that got the notice”
He further explained that “even one of the aspirants that went there, Hon. Jimoh AZEEZ ADENIYI popularly known as J-West was turned back at the gate having been told that it was only Senatorial primary that was to
hold.”

According to the federal lawmaker, the purported primaries by the Jagba elements was illegal and a nullity.
