Florence Ajimobi sympathizes with victims  of Ibadan explosion

Wife of former Governor of Oyo State, Dr( Mrs.) Florence Ajimobi  has expressed deep  sympathy to victims of Tuesday’s  explosion that rocked the city of Ibadan and the Oyo State government over the incident.

She also prayed for the peaceful repose of the souls of those who lost their lives in the incident. While commending the State government for the proactive measures it took since the incident occurred , she urged the government to do all within its power to  sooth the pains that accompany such incidents.

In a statement issued on Wednesday,  Mrs Ajimobi, whose Grandex Supermarket buildings in Bodija and house in Agodi were affected, said, “ I am deeply saddened by the unfortunate incident that occurred on Tuesday in Bodija and the attendant loss of lives and property that followed.

“From information available, the incident led to the death of two people and injury to many others who are still receiving treatment in various hospitals, my heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims of the incident.

“I know that no words can ease the pain and sense of loss of the families that lost their loved ones and those whose property were destroyed,  be assured that you are in my prayers and thoughts”, she said.
